It is a salty bream made with spring herbs and herbs, and it can be eaten on January 7 in hopes of no illness during the year. It is also said to rest the weak stomach at the celebration of New Year holidays and sake.
This event was performed during the Heian period, but it is also considered to be a prototype of Muromachi period soup.

By the way, as I was watching the press release that Ootoya launched a menu of Nanakusa-Gayu the other day, I decided to go with lunch.

When I tried to buy ingredients for myself last year, I have a pretty "grassy taste" and I was surprised.
So I thought that I made a mistake in how to make it.

But today, because the seven plants I ate at Otoya properly had a slightly grassy taste, I realized that "Oh, it's like this" (laughs)
However, the seven herbs of Otoya were far more delicious than those I made ^ ^;
The grassy taste also feels a little fluffy, and I don't feel so unpleasant.

On the other hand, I was glad that I felt the emotional thing that something Japanese tradition, "I feel the taste that people of old days have eaten".
